Selective Knowing

My eyes are shut wide, I see my truth.
My ears are insulated, I hear my answers.
Your facts are wrong, because I disagree.
Your logic is flawed, it conflicts with mine.
I do not recall saying that, you are a liar.
I am correct, because I agree.
I am right, because it helps me.
The laws don't apply, for I don't agree.
The only thing that matters is what I believe.
